| Marlena Spieler is the author of over 30
cookbooks, which was a number one best seller. Several of her including The
classic Barbecue and Grill Cookbook other books were short listed for awards.
Some of her books include: feeding friends (Piatkus), Hot and Spicy (out of
print), Sun-Drenched Cuisine (Ebury/Tarcher out of print), Olio di Oliva
(Apple, out of print), A Feast of Mushrooms, Wild and Tamed (Apple), Peppers,
Peppers, Peppers (Apple), a forthcoming book on pasta for Headline and another
on Jewish Food for Anness. She writes for a wide variety of publications, including The Times, Saveur, Bon Appetit, and more. And has a regular column with The San Francisco Chronicle (name is being decided). Marlena guests on a variety of television programmes and broadcasts on a variety of radio programmes, including BBC Radio 4: The Food Programme, Veg Talk, and others. She was short listed as Food Broadcaster of the Year in the prestigious Guild of Food Writers Awards.
